Read mine, Enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to actually win your own fantasy family trip or one of a bunch of other great prizes.

Our Ultimate Family Vacation

Neither my husband, nor my 6 yo son has ever been to Disney World.  Can you believe it?  We live in Georgia and we have been to Orlando a few times to visit family, but we never get the opportunity to take a true family vacation.  If I could surprise my family we would vacation with Mickey.  Disney would be the ultimate vacation because they have things for my 6 yo, my 17 yo, my hubby, and for me to enjoy.

Each day we could start with breakfast at the hotel and maybe even sneak in a breakfast with the characters one day.  My favorite park is Epcot and I think my hubby would really like it too.  My oldest son likes MGM and Animal Kingdom, but my youngest would love Magic Kingdom.  With a week or two available to us we could do a park a day and satisfy everyone’s fantasy.  At night my hubby and I could sneak away to Pleasure Island and stroll along the Disney Village looking at all the great little shops.

That’s the wonderful thing about Disney World, the adult worries melt away and while you are there you can be a kid again.  Isn’t that what vacation is all about?  Where would you go?

Don’t forget to enter the “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, for a chance to win your own ultimate family vacation. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

An Affordable Health Insurance for K-12 Students – UnitedHealthcare StudentResources

The UnitedHealthcare StudentResources offers a K-12 Student Insurance Health Plan exclusively for school-aged children from 5 to 18 years of age (4-18 in Texas) through participating schools. Every year my son comes home with a little brochure highlighting some key points and until recently I have never really looked at the brochure. I knew it covered children without health insurance, but didn’t realize this could be used as a co-insurance option for those of us who already have insurance. For example, if my employer’s insurance has a $1000 deductible per person and I take my son to the emergency room, I am required to pay the first $1000 out-of-pocket. The K012 health plan will reimburse me for my child’s eligible medical expenses after only a $50/year deductible. Makes sense, doesn’t it?

The K-12 Health Plan Advanges:

  • 24-Hour protection for eligible injuries and sickness, at home or at school
  • Unrestricted choice of medical providers (Doctors, Hospitals, etc…)
  • Open enrollment throughout the school year and summer
  • Parents can enroll their student at any point in the year [July 1 – June 30]
  • Same Day Enrollment/Coverage
  • Can combine with other health insurance for extra protection
  • $50 deductible per policy year
  • Easy online enrollment in minutes

On a budget? How to protect your child for less than the price of a daily school lunch

  • The K-12 health plan is designed to be affordable – rates have not increased since 2006.

($588 per policy year or $147 quarterly or $98 every 2 months) That equates to $1.61 per day.

  • Parents can pay 2 months at a time to make it easier on their budget.

To see if a (your) district is participating and learn more, visit www.K12LearnMore.com and click on Plans & Pricing tab. Then enter your school district name (or just a few letters) and state. Click View Plan Materials to review the Health Plan/Injury and Sickness Coverage page.

When ready to enroll, click the Enroll Now button and follow these 4 easy steps:

1. Complete some information about the child,

2. Select the Injury and Sickness plan,

3. Create an account,

4. Make a payment by credit card or e-check.

Life with Lisa the Unveil of a New Blog

I love telling you about new things I try and learn about when I do reviews.  I try to find things that I think will interest you all because I think reviews are a very valuable resource in today’s economy.  It is important to know something about a product or service before you spend your families money; therefore I try to be fair in my assessments and share my experiences with you on Mom of 2 Boys, Wife of 1 with total honesty.  However, I’m getting lost.  Not confused, but lost.  The posts about my family, myself, my life are getting lost here. That is why I want to invite you all to “Life with Lisa” a new blog about….my life and other things.

Life with Lisa features a hodge-podge of things:

Recipes
Health/Wellness – Everything from my weight loss journey to mental illness
About Atlanta – Georgia inspired posts
Travel – Information on traveling and places I have traveled
Photographs – I love sharing beautiful pictures
Social Responsibility – I believe in giving back

You never know what you will find, but it probably won’t be a review or a giveaway – it will be me, sharing myself, with you.

If you want to check it out you can visit http://www.lifewithlisa.com and follow me on GFC or by RSS (email or feed).  I hope you will come learn more about me, as a person, and share more about you too.  I love learning about the readers I have and I feel like I will be able to really connect with you there.

Don’t worry, I have a ton of reviews and giveaways that will be going up on Mom of 2 Boys, Wife of 1 later this week when I get back from California.  I hope you will come check them out!
